Chocolate Banana Pancakes

Servings 3-4

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas 

  • 3 Tbsp oil or melted butter (plus some more for frying)

  • 2-3 Tbsp honey or maple syrup 

  • 2 tsp cider vinegar 

  • 1 cup plant based milk

  • 2 Tbsp Dandelion Cocoa blend

  • 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour

  • 1 Tbsp baking powder 

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon 

  • Pinch of salt 

Instructions:

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Lightly grease a frying pan and place over a low-medium heat.

  3. Using a ladle pour about 1/4 cup of the pancake batter into the pan and cook for a couple of minutes until bubbly on the surface and set around the edges then flip the pancake over and cook for another couple of minutes until cooked through. Repeat with the rest of the batter.

  4. Serve with maple syrup or honey, topped   with fruit of your choice.
